Our story started in Lubbock, Texas in 2020, but God had different plans for us for the next three years. Matthew graduated from Tech and started working in the oil & gas industry in the Panhandle and Sarah took her dream job working in pediatric nursing at Cook Children’s in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2023 our story resumed with a coffee date and catching up while walking the banks of the Trinity river. It was very clear from that first date that we had grown into the people that God shaped us to be, and we immediately knew that this was it.

Throughout the years we were both told that “when you know, you know” and neither of us believed it. But in the early weeks of dating we were made believers. Long distance isn’t for the weak, but frequent visits and A LOT of miles driven made it more than worth it!

The years and miles apart culminated with a beautiful & magical proposal during a week long trip to Mexico last fall.

We are so thrilled to celebrate our special day with our family and friends!
